Frequently Asked Questions
-
How do I pay rent?
In order to make paying rent as quick and easy as possible, we offer several options for rent payment. If you prefer to pay with cash, you can use our e-pay slip to pay at your local CVS, 7-Eleven, Walmart or Walgreens. You can pay online, via your tenant portal, with an ACH payment direct from your bank. You can even set up recurring payments so you don’t forget to submit your monthly rent payment. You can pay with a credit card via your tenant portal with added fees. -
I want to get a pet. What should I do?
Please contact one of our leasing agents. You must provide us with proof of current licensing and vaccinations for your pet, and a current photo. Pet rent is $50 per pet, per month. Pet deposit is $500 per pet. Not all property owners allow pets. -
I want to move out, but my roommate wants to stay. What should I do?
Please contact one of our leasing agents. In order to stay, you/your remaining roommates must provide updated proof of income. If we can verify your remaining roommates’ gross income is at least 3x the current monthly rent, we will proceed with a removal tenant amendment. All financially responsible parties must sign, and then we can release a roommate from the original lease. -
My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What should I do?
You must provide at least 30 days written notice, although some leases require 60 days. You can do so via your tenant portal, or by contacting one of our leasing team members. -
Who is responsible for paying for repairs & maintenance requests?
If a repair is determined to be necessary due to tenant damage or negligence, tenants will be responsible for the cost of the repair. If a tenant requests an upgrade to the property, this is not a repair. Otherwise, repairs and maintenance are handled by Rental Zebra and the property Owner.
